A CAMPAIGN that focuses on raising awareness of men’s mental health in Swindon has launched a survey to find the right message.
The three statements put together by local men are being put to the vote and the most popular will be chosen for the campaign.
Public health chiefs at Swindon Borough Council want to encourage more men to speak about their mental health as they try to cut the town’s suicide rate.
Local resident and businessman, Alex Pollock, is helping to lead the campaign.
He said: “There’s a real stigma around mental health, particularly with regards to men.
“Our campaigning this year will be aiming to support healthier conversations and encouraging the friends, family members and colleagues of local men to help spot the signs of someone who may be struggling.
Voting is open until January 21 at smartsurvey.co.uk/s/votemensmentalhealth/
