A SIX-year old girl will be braving a haircut to raise money for the Little Princess Trust who make and supply wigs for children who have lost their own hair through illnesses.

Mia Kenny will have around eight inches cut off in a bid to help ill children.

Mia’s dad Kenny said: “Our amazing daughter has kindly said she is willing to have her long beautiful hair cut so she can donate her hair to make wigs for sick children and to raise lots of money in the process.

“We are extremely proud of her for doing this and it shows the character of her at such a young age as. She came up with the idea on her own which shows how kind and thoughtful she is.”

The event will take place the day after Mia’s birthday on January 29 at 5pm. The team at Caroline Collis hairdressing and beauty in west Swindon will do the haircut for the youngster.

So far, she has raised nearly £200. Donate at www.justgiving.com/miasummerkenny2019 or by text to Text mias82 to 70070.
