BRAIN injury charity Headway has been handed a £3,000 grant to buy a new customer relationship system.
Fibre-optic cable and equipment manufacturer AFL supports the organisation through its annual fundraising campaign.
But it discovered there was a need for the system at the charity's Swindon base.
“Currently, we use several databases which are old and unreliable. We spend time accessing several sites to gain the information required," said Headway Swindon chief executive Jane Weston.
The charity helps around 94 people affected by brain injury to recover lost skills and abilities like memory, attention, emotional adjustment and planning by using cognitive rehabilitation.
