A celebration of Chinese culture explodes into Swindon next week.
The only touring theatre show dedicated to the celebration of the Chinese Lunar Calendar Spring Festival in the UK, the Chinese New Year Extravaganza, rolls into town
This cultural spectacle has been designed to welcome the start of the year and features a team of performers showcasing an array of Chinese performing arts.
On the bill will be the cheerful and spirited Lion Dance and an awe-inspiring contortionist and daring act from Chinese acrobatics.
There will be some new programmes such as Chinese Yu Opera, a Chinese traditional instrument performance, and the mighty 18-metre Dragon Dance, added this year to the vibrant variety show. It is the perfect entertainment for all ages to get in to the spirit of Chinese New Year.
The show is visiting Wyvern Theatre on Friday, 22 February at 7pm.
