INSPIRED to donate her hair to make wigs for other people, a Marlborough girl had the big chop on Saturday(Feb 9) .
Macie Campbell, seven, raised a fantastic £727 for the Little Princess charity and has her hair fashioned into a bob.
Macie and mum Kirsty went to the Hair Company on Marlborough High Street, after the charity cut was postponed due to heavy snow fall the previous week.
The family live in Purlyn acre, Marlborough and have now sent the hair off to the charity.
Mrs Campbell said: "Macie wasn’t nervous at all! She is looking forward to it being a couple of inches longer though. I was more nervous than Macie!
All the money that was raised was through sharing it on Facebook. The whole family are really proud of her."
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24 that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.
