STRATTON'S main community hub is hosting a range of events over the next few weeks.

First up is a roller disco tomorrow, with a family session from 3pm to 5pm and an over-18s session from 6pm to 8pm. Refreshments will be available and a bar will be open during the later session. Tickets, which include skate hir, cost £6 each. Buy tickets from reception or call 01793 825525.

The parish council's first-ever indoor car boot sale is next on Saturday March 30 from 11am to 2pm. Residents having a spring clear-out can sell off their stuff at a stall from 11am to 2pm. Visitors can browse their wares for £1 entry. Anyone who wants to host a stall should email events@strattonstmargaret.gov.uk

July 6 sees the return of the Stratton Festival, the biggest event in the parish's calendar, with a mini animal petting zoo, Drove Vets dog show, children's activities, plus live music from Kova Me Badd and other bands.The festival starts at 12pm and will last until 10.30pm.

Money from the disco, car boot and festival will go to Stratton St Margaret parish council chair Stuart Leach's chosen charity Swindon Young Carers.
