THE Royal Wootton Bassett Tuneless Choir will host their first-ever live concert next week.
The choir launched in January for people who love singing but can't necessarily hold a tune or think they are very good at singing. The group of more than 30 members gathers regularly to sing for the fun of it with no pressure or expectation to improve and feel energised and uplifted.
Their hour-long concert will see them belting out their most popular songs with some audience participation encouraged.
An Evening with the Royal Wootton Bassett Tuneless Guys and Dolls begins at 7.30pn on Saturday April 20 at the Angel hotel.
Before then, the group will meet twice for rehearsals - once on Tuesday April 9 at 7.30pn and again on Tuesday April 16 at the same time. Newcomers are welcome.
Joining the choir costs £10 to register and receive a songbook, and name badge and enjoy the first session. Then, it costs £7 per session on a pay-as-you-go basis, or pay per term for a price equivalent to £5 per session.
