BROWNIES in a Wiltshire village have been learning to cook at the Farm Cookery School in Bromham.

The cookery school invited Bromham Brownies and Youth Club groups to come along and learn to cook for the evening on March 20.

The Brownies worked in small groups to make pizzas from scratch and shortbread biscuits.

The Youth Club came just after and made fresh noodle pots and quesadillas.

Darren, Lead Youth Worker said: “Gretchen and Olivia of the school were fantastic with our members who all had the opportunity to learn how to make healthy flavoursome noodle pots and cheese quesadillas (a Mexican tortilla filled with cheese). Our members had an amazing time and have already been asking their parents if they can make the dishes for them at home.”

Gretchen Winter founder of the Farm Cookery School said: “I feel hugely privileged to be able to give back to the community, the staff that run these groups are amazing.”
