Police arrested a 17-year-old and seized a large quantity of cash after a member of the public suspected drug related activity.
Officers were called shortly before 1:30pm yesterday by someone reporting suspicious activity in Buckthorn Drive, Haydon Wick.
The young boy from the Surrey area was arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of Class A drugs.
He has been released under investigation while their enquiries continue.
Sergeant Rory Draper, from Swindon North Community Policing team, said: “This incident highlights how we can work with local communities to tackle drug dealing.
“If you phone us to report your concerns or suspicions, then we can take action – but we can’t do this without the public’s help.”
If anyone has information, please call police on 101.
