PLANTS, crafts and cakes made and grown by young people with autism will be on sale at Pennyhooks Farm this saturday.

The farm, just off the A420 near Shrivenham, showcases the produce of pupils who visit weekly to learn new skills and gain independence.

Families can buy plants for their gardens and see animals on the farm, including donkeys, goats, cows, and chickens.

"Many of them have been coming here since they were children," said Sheelagh Lugg.

"Our students and young people have complex autism, we look to their individual strengths while learning to work on the farm.

"They have been caring for the flower meadows by thistle digging and harvesting willow to weave plant supports."

The plant sale will be open from 11am - 1pm.
