THE A3102 Swindon Road at Hilmarton was closed at 5.30pm yesterday (Monday, Mary 20) after a serious collision between a motorcyclist and a car.
The incident left the motorcyclist, aged in his 20s from Gloucestershire, with serious injuries.
He was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol. His injuries are described as life changing.
Poloce are appealing for witnesses following collision near Caln.
The motorcyclist collided with a Land Rover Discovery but the driver of the Land Rover - a man in his 40s from Cirencester - was not injured.
The road was closed for approximately four hours while collision investigators attended the scene and the vehicles were recovered.
