A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and failing to stop at the scene of a road traffic collision following an incident in Trowbridge last night.
Police were called at 10.13pm last night (May 20) following a collision between a motorcyclist and a blue Fiat Panda on the mini roundabout at the junction of Frome Road and Manor Road.
The motorcyclist, a 17-year-old boy, was taken to the Royal United Hospital with leg injuries.
The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene, but enquiries led officers to an address in Beech Grove.
A 32-year-old woman from Trowbridge has been arrested on suspicion of driving while over the legal alcohol limit and failing to stop at the scene of a collision. She is currently in custody at Melksham Police Station.
Police enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should contact Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting log 351 of yesterday (May 20).
