Gardening crime

CHIPPENHAM: On May 15, at 12.10pm a man took garden implements including a water butt and lawn edging from Morrisons leaving the store without paying having previously paid for other items.

Thieves at work

CHIPPENHAM: Thieves stole a catalytic converter from a parked car in Applewood Close by jacking up the car and stealing the exhaust item at 4.30pm on May 15. They were in a blue Vauxhall Zafira and accompanied by two men in a silver car.

Drink driver

CHIPPENHAM: On May 14 close to midnight police attended a single vehicle accident on Canal Road. The driver from Calne was arrested for drink driving and will appear in court in June.

Parcel stolen

CORSHAM: A thief walked up to the front door of a home in West park on May 15 at 10am and stole a parcel that had been delivered from the porch.

Dropped phone

CHIPPENHAM: On May 14 a member of the public lost their mobile phone on London Road. Someone picked it up and turned off the location options when they attempted to call it.

Caravan crime

NORTH WRAXALL: Vandals broke into a caravan by prizing open the door and damaged the interior during the night of May 13-14.

No insurance

CHIPPENHAM: A grey Citroen Nemo X parked on the Market Mead in the town has been seized by police on May 14. It had no insurance listed or an MOT certificate or road fund tax.

Thieves at work

LACOCK: At 2pm on May 16, thieves broke into a detached garage at a home in the village and stole seven second-hand car batteries.

Egging incident

CORSHAM: A car parked on Pockeridge Road has had a tyre slashed and eggs smashed over the vehicle by an unknown suspect. The damage was caused between May 18-20.
