After an April spent campaigning for the local elections, and a May letting the dust settle, Swindon Borough Council swings back into action.
Leader of the council, David Renard, will chair the first meeting of Conservative cabinet after the group was returned with an increased majority, from three to five members. That meeting will be held at 6pm on June 6
The decisions of those very cabinet members will then be held up to the light just four days later when backbench and opposition councillors on the scrutiny committee call one of the cabinet for a question and answer session on June 10
The next day the planning committee- a non-political statutory committee will rule on planning applications, and the similarly constituted licensing committee will discuss various applications for training licenses and policies on June 13.
There are four meeting in the third week of June, with resources, economy, adults health and care and audit committees all convening.
