The look on Ann Widdecombe's face tells the story of the night.
The Brexit Party candidate was one of three MEP hopefuls elected to the European Parliament following Thursday's poll.
Thanking voters and party workers, Miss Widdecombe said: "Tonight reaffirms the vote of 2016. There was only one reason for voting for the Brexit Party and that was if you wanted a Brexit.
"Therefore we will go forward determined that is what we will achieve.

Nationally, Nigel Farage's Brexit Party are odds-on to take the top spot. By contrast, Labour and the Conservatives have seen their vote share plummet.
