A NUMBER of unique items were stolen in a burglary in Everleigh earlier this month and police are appealing for information.
The burglary occurred at an address on the A342, in Lower Everleigh, between 11pm on June 1 and just after midnight on June 2.
It is believed a van with three or four men inside was involved in the burglary, during which the house was broken into via an upstairs window and number of items of jewellery and antiques were stolen.
Some of these items include an antique tribal turtle shell mask, a whale inner ear sculpture, four antique shell and mother of pearl spoons, antique tribal silver jewellery, a moroccan sequin basket and large brass antique ship light fitting.
A spokesman said: "We would like to hear from anyone with information about the incident, or anyone who may have been offered these items for sale either in person or online." Please call 101 with any information and quote crime reference number 54190052868.
