An assessment of how well Swindon Borough Council manages its money and organises the control of its financial systems will be made to councillors next week.
Members of the authority's audit committee will be present to hear the report prepared by one of the council's own officers, Nick Hobbs, head of the internal audit team at Euclid Street.

It is a legal requirement that such a report is written by the council's head of internal audit.
The committee will also present its own report on the financial year just completed, as well as discussing the council's savings and investments as detailed in a treasury report.
The meeting begins at 6pm on Tuesday June 18.
