THE Old Town Festival has plenty in store over the next four days as the week-long celebration continues.

From today, Perfect Wedding by Robin Hawdon will be staged Swindon Wyvern Theatre and Arts Centre.

It tells the story of Bill who wakes up on his wedding morning next to a girl he does not know. Performances will take place until Saturday, with tickets priced at £13.50.

Tomorrow, pianist Paul Turner will perform at Christ Church from 1pm (£5) and there will be a Nude Foods cookery masterclass on Friday from 2pm (£7.50/£5).

The festival finishes in style on Saturday with a free concert at the Bowl in Town Gardens from 12pm to 10.30pm.

Festival committee member Nick Burns-Howell said: “There’s a whole week worth of activities, including the world-famous concert at the Town Gardens Bowl on Saturday afternoon.

“There are plenty of dance clubs who are going to perform over the next week.”

The festival is run by volunteers who will be raising funds for Wiltshire Search and Rescue.
