WILTSHIRE Police investigating a fail to stop near Melksham are appealing for witnesses.

The incident happened between 1pm and 1.20pm on Thursday, June 13.

A silver Vauxhall Corsa was travelling along the B3107 from Holt in the direction of Melksham.

As the vehicle turned into the Stagwood Equestrian Centre, it was struck to the rear passenger side, causing a back and neck injury to the driver – a woman in her 20s from Trowbridge.

The offending vehicle was driven off towards Melksham after failing to stop at the scene. It is described as a small silver vehicle, possibly a Hyundai, being driven by a man.

PC Mark Curle, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am looking to hear from anyone who was driving this route at the same time as the incident, who may have either witnessed what happened, or may have dash cam footage of the incident.”
