A POLLING station volunteer was abused by an EU Election voter.
Now, police want to hear from anyone who saw the incident in Royal Wootton Bassett on Thursday, May 23.
They said a middle-aged white man, who is described as around 5ft10 ins, of average build, with dark hair and a beard, used threatening language against a volunteer at the Lime Kiln sports centre polling station between 10.30am and 11am on the day of the vote.
A Wiltshire Police spokeswoman refused to say what was said, but confirmed the abuse was related to the elections.
Anyone who witnessed the incident should call police on 101 or email paul.croft@wiltshire.pnn.police.uk.
The Brexit Party topped last month's European parliamentary election vote.
More than 17 million votes were cast across the UK, with Nigel Farage's pro-no deal Brexit party taking a third of votes.
