A MOTORCYCLIST has been killed after crashing his bike on the A4.
The 29-year-old man, from the Marlborough area, was pronounced dead at the scene by air ambulance paramedics.
Appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward, PC Richard Hatch of the Wiltshire Police collision investigation unit said 999 crews were called to the crash on the A4 at Cherhill, near Calne, shortly after 11pm on Friday, July 5.
The victim was riding a Kawasaki ZX 600 motorcycle. No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the crash.
PC Hatch asked any motorists who witnessed the incident or who had dash cam footage of the biker to contact the collision investigation unit at Wiltshire Police HQ by calling 01380 861049 and leaving their name, telephone number and email address.
