AN event designed to tackle isolation and loneliness is to take place in Chippenham next week.
More than 45 organisations are expected to attend the Over 55s event on Friday, July 19 from 10am to 1pm. Entry is free.
It is taking place at the Neeld Community and Arts Centre in High Street, Chippenham and will be opened by local MP Michelle Donelan. It is being supported by Barclays.
Organisations participating include local clubs and societies, activity-based groups, charities, churches and religious organisations, and organisations focusing on financial advice, general help and support and keeping safe.
