STAFF at Stepping Stones Nursery were pleased to receive a check after one keen fundraiser donated £300 to the nursery.
Jayne Shelbourne of Summerleaze in Trowbridge completed a sponsored swim and static cycle ride to raise the money for Stepping Stones which is close to her heart.
Miss Shelbourne said: "I was so pleased with the amount I raised and I got a bit emotional handing over the cheque.
"My nephew Ed attends Stepping Stones as he has autism and cant communicate, but he has learned so much thanks to Stepping Stones.
"He is now ready to attend Larkrise in September.
"I cant thank the staff at the nursery enough for the support they have given him, and I just wanted to give back by doing my own bit of fundraising.
"The staff were very grateful and I felt proud to hand over the cheque."
Miss Shelbourne has raised hundreds of pounds for various charities over the past 10 years, including the Bath RUH Cancer Unit and children’s charity Wiltshire Wishes.
