A two hour Zumbathon is taking place this weekend.

On Saturday, St Peter’s Church in Penhill will host the exercise afternoon in aid of The Open Door Centre in Gorse Hill.

Between 1pm - 3pm, local Zumba teacher Natasha McIntyre will host the Zumbathon alongside fellow Zumba instructors from Swindon.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children aged between five and 13 years old.

The Open Door Centre is a day centre for those with learning disabilities.

Sam James, who teaches Seated Zumba Gold at the centre said: "It’s a cause close to my heart. I have a physical disability myself and I have been lucky enough to be able to experience everything that able bodied people do without thinking,

"I love teaching in Open Door as I’m giving them a experience they normally wouldn’t get," she added.

Limited tickets can be purchased on the door or via each instructor.
