A GROUP of six members and supporters are to take part in a charity skydive at the Old Sarum Airfield near Salisbury on Saturday, July 20 to raise funds for the Wessex MS Therapy Centre at Warminster.
The centre is hoping to raise £2,750 from the tandem skydives with five of the six each raising £450 to jump from 10,000 feet and one raising £500 to jump from 15,000ft.
Wessex MS Therapy Centre skydive co-ordinator Amanda Strong said: “The more people we get to jump the more money we raise for Wessex MS Therapy Centre.”
The Wessex MS Therapy centre provides therapies, support and friendly social contact to all who have Multiple Sclerosis, their families and carers.
The centre in The Avenue, Warminster, strives to cater for as many members as possible and covers areas Salisbury, Yeovil, Bath, Bournemouth and Andover as well as Warminster.
The Therapy Centre offers MS sufferers physiotherapy, reflexology, oxygen therapy, yoga, counselling, pilates and acupuncture.
