Knights will battle it out in tournaments at Wiltshire Medieval Fair on Saturday, August 17
WARMINSTER will ring to the sounds of knightly combat and tournament jousting next month.
The Wiltshire Medieval Society is organising the Warminster Medieval Fair on Saturday, August 17, from 10am to 4pm.
Taking place at the Portway Field, in Portway Lane, it will bring the medieval times to Warminster with knightly combat, living history and historical education.
There will also be live acoustic music, storytelling and falconry as well as a folk market.
In addition, living history tents will demonstrate skills and replica items to immerse you into the medieval mindset and lifestyle. There will be combat in a tournament at intervals throughout the day.
