Harris, Hill & Gibbons Veterinary Group, which has practices in Trowbridge, Bradford on Avon, Westbury and Warminster, hosted their first community litter pick event on Sunday. 11 volunteers, made up of veterinary staff and clients, took to the streets around the Trowbridge veterinary practice on Paxcroft Way to clear over 16kg of litter from the streets.
Practice director Sarah Holliday-Bropwn said: "At Harris, Hill & Gibbons Vets, we are proud to be a part of the communities in which our practices are located and we are hoping to make litter picks a regular event, in each of the four towns that our practices reside.
"We are able to provide all the necessary equipment for the litter pick events, and Royal Canin have very kindly sponsored the events.
"If you would like to take part in our next litter pick event, keep an eye on our Facebook page - @HHGVets – or contact trowbridge@hhgvets.co.uk to register your interest."
