A BRATTON resident is to appeal against Wiltshire Council's refusal to let her build a new home in the village.
Mrs L Pennington wants to build on land south east of 1 Reeves Piece, Bratton, to provide a house, a double garage and vehicle access.
Her application was refused because she has no right of access over a public footpath which has restricted width and inadequate passing opportunities.
Wiltshire Council said the increase in vehicle movements associated with the proposed development would affect the safety and convenience of footpath users.
The appeal will be decided by written representations. The deadline is August 20.
