A YELLOW warning has been issued for thunderstorms for Swindon.
Torrential downpours are expected for most of Tuesday, causing a risk of travel disruption.

The Met Office said: “Some of the showers will bring thundery downpours in places, and it will be windy with a risk of gales around the coast.”

This warning comes after the country experienced extreme heat. Last week, temperatures rose above 30C in Swindon.
