A NEW Chatty Café has been launched by the Westbury Court care home to connect residents with the local community.
It welcomes people to come along for a chat and to make new friendships while enjoying pastries and cakes with teas and coffees.
Westbury Court is part of the brighterkind group of 70 care homes across the UK. Every brighterkind home now has a Magic Moments Club which provides a vast range of activities and fun things to do that are open to all residents.
Suzanne Holmes, Magic Moments Club Co-ordinator said: “We hope that people will come along to join us making new friendships, enjoy meeting new people and maybe join in with an optional activity.
"This is a great new way to bring together new friends and old, with a cuppa and pastries. We are sure that there will be many a tale to tell amongst everyone.”
The chatty café will take place on the third Thursday of every month from 11am-12.30pm. All welcome.
