OVER 40 children visited St James Church in Trowbridge for it's annual holiday club, Pyramid Rock.
Taking place during the first week of the summer holidays, the inside of the church was transformed into an ancient Egyptian scene complete with a giant pyramid and hieroglyphs for primary school age children.
A group of 13-16-year-old teenagers who have attended the holiday club weeks in previous years gave up a week of their Summer holidays to help run it.
Led by Children's and Families Worker Tom Bullock and minister in training Holly Newton, the young people enjoyed crafts, games and singing under the giant pyramid as they explored the Bible story of Joseph and his amazing coloured coat. A celebration service took place in St James' on Sunday August 4.
Revd Rob Thomas said: "We're a welcoming community of people of all ages motivated to make the love of God known to the people of Trowbridge."
