AN ANTI-BREXIT campaign group put up a billboard featuring a quote by South Swindon MP Robert Buckland criticising the idea of leaving the EU without a deal.
Led by Donkeys unveiled the new poster in Manchester which prominently displays the justice secretary's words "The shock that would be caused to our economy is not something any of us want to contemplate."
A spokesperson tweeted: "Here's what justice secretary Robert Buckland thinks about his govt’s defining policy. God alone knows how we ended up here."
After being promoted to his new role, Mr Buckland told the Adver: "I have always supported an orderly Brexit and campaigned against a crash-out. I want us to leave the EU in an orderly way with a deal.
“It would be easier to walk away an give up responsibility for these issues but it’s better to be involved."
