A MELKSHAM woman has lost her appeal against Wiltshire Council's refusal to let her build two new homes.
Jackie Moore wanted to build one pair of two-bedroomed semi-detached houses next to her home at 18 Wiltshire Crescent.
But Wiltshire Council refused to allow the scheme, saying it would effect the character and appearance of the area. The council also said it would impact on the living conditions of neighbours, particularly in relation to light and outlook.
The planning inspector dismissed the appeal.
