MORE than five new jobs are to be created in Trowbridge by a Hong King-based health, home and beauty company.
C K Hutchison Holdings Group, which owns A S Watson, is to open a new Savers Health & Beauty store at 33-34 Fore Street, the former Lloyds Pharmacy store.
The company, which also owns Superdrug and The Perfume Shop, is creating jobs for an assistant manager, supervisors, counter assistants, and an apprentice retail sales assistant on fixed term contracts.
It has been working closely with the Trowbridge Jobcentre Plus in Bythesea Road to recruit new staff.
Savers Health & Beauty is a discount chain with more than 450 UK stores retailing a variety of health, beauty, household goods, medicines, and fragrances.
The company has other local stores at Bristol, Chippenham and Melksham.
