BROADGREEN: A man who denies driving without a licence, insurance and obstructing a police officer has been remanded in custody. Reuben Bachofner-Brown, 23, of Cricklade Road, is said to have been behind the wheel of a black Nissan Juke on Manchester Road in April. He was held ahead of an interim remand hearing on August 29.

GRANGE PARK: Alex Boxall, 19, of Warbeck Gate, will appear before Swindon Crown Court charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis and ketamine between December 1, 2017, and March 28, 2018. He is also said to have acquired, used or had possession of criminal property, namely cash of an unknown value. He was bailed for a plea hearing at the crown court on August 30.

Ethan Edwards, 20, of Cassini Drive, is Boxall's co-accused, also charged with supplying cannabis and ketamine. He was also bailed to appear before the crown court on August 30.

WANBOROUGH: A man accused of burgling Swindon Supermarine Sports Club will appear before the judge this week.

Kevin Dunn, 42, of Underdown Close, Wanborough, is said to have taken wallets, iPhones and Nike trainers from the football club’s changing room. He is also accused of 16 counts of fraud by false representation, relating to the use of stolen bank cards at Swindon shops.

He was bailed to appear before Swindon Crown Court on August 30 for a plea hearing.

TOWN CENTRE: Alan Harris, 45, of Spring Close, was bailed to appear before the crown court on September 30 to enter pleas to charges of possession of crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply.

WANBOROUGH: Noye Nichols, 29, of Wanborough, is accused of 16 counts of fraud by false representation, relating to the use of stolen bank cards in Swindon shops. She was bailed to appear before Swindon Crown Court on August 30.

SWINDON: Harijs Sokolovs, 35, now of Brook View, Oxford, admitted three counts of making indecent photographs of a child. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a prohibited image of a child and an extreme pornographic image showing a person performing intercourse with an animal.

He was ordered to register with police as a sex offender. Magistrates bailed him to be sentenced at Swindon Crown Court on August 29.

SWINDON: Lucy Dullea, 23, of Poisedon Close, will appear before Swindon Crown Court on August 30 to face a charge of threatening unlawful violence. She was bailed by magistrates.

NORTH SWINDON: Lukasz Kowalski, 27, of Elgar Close, denies assaulting a police constable with intent to resist arrest. JPs bailed him for the trial on October 21 at Swindon Magistrates’ Court.

SWINDON: Robina Puffett, 26, of Gamekeepers Close, was fined £200 and told to do 20 rehabilitation days after she was found guilty of assault by beating and using threatening behaviour. She had previously pleaded not guilty, but the charge was proved in her absence at the trial. Separately, she must pay £80 compensation to Asda after pleading guilty to stealing alcohol.

ELDENE: Elliot Brown, 36, of Overbrook, was told to pay £208 compensation after he pleaded guilty to stealing seven bottles of alcohol from Iceland and two champagne bottles from a BP garage.

PINEHURST: Lindsay Gunning, 35, of Cunningham Road, was jailed for a week after admitting stealing meat from the Co-op in Malmesbury and cans of Stella Artois from the Lyneham Tesco. Each charge attracted a seven day sentence, to be served concurrently. A £115 victim surcharge was deemed paid by time served.

MOREDON: Patricia Hannon, 46, of Caraway Drive, was handed a 36 month driving ban and fined £80 for driving her BMW along Akers Way while over the drink-drive limit. Breathalyser tests showed she had 44 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath, whereas the limit is 35 microgrammes. She was banned from driving for 36 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

COATE: Jimmy Lowe, 24, of Ballyack Close, was fined £80 after he admitted being in possession of 11 grammes of cannabis. He was also told to pay a £30 victim surcharge.

WOODHALL PARK: Damian Rak, 18, of Ramsthorn Close, was ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work after he pleaded guilty to possession of a flick knife in a public place. He was told to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
