KEEN knitters are being urged to play a special part in the Trowbridge Remembrance Day commemoration in November.
After decorating the town with hundreds of knitted poppies in 2019, individual knitters and knitting club members are being invited to send in more this year.
Trowbridge Town Council is asking them to send in the knitted poppies to the Trowbridge Information Centre in the Civic Centre. A pattern can be provided if required.
All poppies should be sent in by Friday, November 1, and all knitters are invited to join a 'Knit and Natter' event at Shaws The Drapers in Castle Place on Saturday, October 26.
All equipment will be provided, and those participating are invited to stop by for the whole session or just half an hour.
For more information, please call the town council on 01225 765072 or email info@trowbridge.gov.uk.
