A pub restaurant with more than 320 excellent reviews on TripAdvisor has received a mention in the 2020 Good Food Guide.

The Bunch of Grapes in Silver Street, Bradford on Avon, is one of 12 new entries from the South West in next year's guide.

General manager Tom Graham said they were "incredibly delighted" to receive a mention and hope it will boost trade ahead of the busy Christmas season.

"We are a small but hard-working team and it's nice to be recognised for what we do."

The Bunch of Grapes is owned by head chef Tony Casey and his wife Maylee, who moved in a year ago last July.

Alongside the finest dining establishments in the country, the Good Food Guide, owned by Waitrose & Partners, celebrates quality eateries in local areas.

Its editor, Elizabeth Carter, said: "The Top 50 recognises the very best talent in the country.

"A place on the list represents a huge achievement, with each position earned by its score in The Good Food Guide, editor appraisal and strength of reader feedback."

Other new entries from the local area include The Methuen Arms in Corsham; Bistro Lotte and The Garden Cafe in Frome, and Whatley Manor near Malmesbury.
