A GRANDMOTHER who held a cake sale to raise cash for the Bristol hospital which treated her grand-daughter was delighted to be able to send it over £600.
Chris Chapman and Merle Edwards organised the sale at the Holt United Reformed Church hall last month, with a delicious array of goodies.
The sale was in memory of Mrs Chapman's grand-daughter Zoe Chapman, who had been treated on Dolphin ward at the Bristol Children's Hospital during her life. Zoe, from Melksham, struggled with health issues and was also a patient at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, where she died last November, aged 15.
Mrs Chapman, who lives in Dilton Marsh, said she and Mrs Edwards were very grateful to everyone who donated cakes and turning up to support the event.
