A NEW care home for people with mental health issues has opened.
Choice Care Group CEO Edwina Johnston visited Ridgeway House on Marlborough Road to cut the ribbon.
Home manager Craig Hiscock said: “The open day went really well. This is my first role as a home manager so I was both excited and a bit nervous, but there was a great atmosphere with lots of visitors throughout the day.
"Everyone said they were very impressed with the spacious rooms and high quality of the furnishings and fittings.
"We are now looking forward to welcoming the first people who we hope will be moving here in the next couple of weeks.”
