POLICE are appealing for information following a robbery in Westbury.

At approximately 3pm on Friday September 20, a 15-year-old was walking home from Westbury train station when he was approached by two males of a similar age, who were not known to him.

They threatened the boy and demanded he hand over his Airpod earphones and watch, which he did. The suspects then left the scene and the victim called the police.

The incident happened near to the entrance of Club 24 gym, on Station Road railway bridge.

The suspects are described as white, aged around 15 and one was pushing a bike.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of robbery and was taken to Melksham custody. He has since been released on conditional bail while further enquiries are carried out.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, including drivers who may have been passing the location at around 3pm, who may have dash cam footage.
