A woman at a bus shelter was punched in the face before her bike was stolen.
The man who attacked her at Cheney Manor Road then cycled off in the direction of Moredon Road.
He was was wearing a leather looking baseball cap, a black hooded top, blue jeans and black footwear.
The stolen bike is a burgundy/claret colour with a Union flag on the crossbars and two white rectangles on the front shock absorbers.
Police are appealing for witnesses of the attack on September 11 at 8pm.
They have released a picture of the man they would like to speak to the man in connection with the incident.
