Det Insp Paul Franklin of Wiltshire Police’s dedicated crime team said: "I hope that our continued efforts to target those involved in county lines is sending a reassuring message to the public who no doubt have concerns about drug supply and violence in their communities.

"It will no doubt be concerning to hear that our arrests include those as young as 16 - I'm keen to point out that our work also focuses on prevention and protection, and trying to stop the exploitation of these young and vulnerable people who get caught up with drug networks. We will continue to work with our partners in the local authority, schools and colleges to ensure we are all playing our part in tackling county lines."
