A GROUP from the Prince’s Trust charity organised a coffee morning at the Trowbridge Area Community Future hub in The Shires to raise money to fund their current community project.

Cakes, books and more were on sale along with a tombola, as the young people arranged the venue and stock to sell.

They are raising money for their project to transform the garden and picnic area at area at Caenhill countryside centre in Devizes, and all money raised will be going towards the project resources and equipment needed.

Group member Harley Binns said: “We chose to do this to raise money for our Caenhill project as many people here have learning disabilities and the countryside centre helps people in similar situations to us.

“We thought it would be nice to give back and we want to raise as much as we can to help us with this project.”

The group were hoping to raise £100 from the day last Thursday.
