A THIRD teenager has now been arrested in connection with a stabbing at a party in Warminster.

Another 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent, after police confirmed that two sixteen-year-old boys were arrested earlier today.

On September 28, officers were called to Chapmanslade Village Hall after an 18-year-old man suffered a stab wound to his leg during a fight at a party. He was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

A second man, also 18, suffered facial injuries and was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath.

Detectives from Central CID have been conducting extensive enquiries and have arrested two 16-year-old boys from Bath on suspicion of Section 18 GBH with intent. Both are in Melksham custody for questioning.

A 15-year-old boy from Trowbridge who was arrested earlier this month in connection with the incident has been released on conditional bail.

Det Insp Tom Straker said: “Enquiries in relation to this disorder have been progressing well and today further arrests have been made.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and we would continue to urge anyone who may be able to help, who has not already spoken to police, to please get in touch.

“I would also like to reissue my appeal to parents of those children who attended this party – we need your support in encouraging your children to talk to police about what they saw and heard.

"I also believe there are photos and video footage of the incident – this footage could be crucial to our investigation so please check mobile phones.”
