TWO men appeared before magistrates accused of selling heroin and crack cocaine to undercover cops.
The court appearance came in a week-long push by Wiltshire Police against big city County Lines drug gangs in Swindon.
Christopher Desantos, 30, of Lilac Court, Pinehurst, has been charged with supplying heroin and crack cocaine to an undercover police officer named only as “Yasmin” on September 24.
John Gibbons, 50, of no fixed address, is charged with four counts of supplying heroin to undercover police officers, four counts of supplying crack cocaine to plain clothes officers, two counts of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, and possession of £180 cash believed to be the proceeds of criminal activity.
Appearing before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday morning, neither of the men entered pleas to the charges.
They were remanded in custody to appear before Swindon Crown Court on Friday, November 15.
