For the majority of the year, Corsham is a perfectly respectable place to live, but once a year for a few strange days, the town indulges in a week of artistic fun.
This is the Magic and Mayhem Festival, one of two annual festivals hosted by The Pound arts centre. The event runs between November 12 and 17.
On Sunday 17 there will be free events for all the family. The festival has theatre, films, and workshops. It's a celebration of all things magical and mischievous and macabre.
Marketing officer, Jonathan Mansfield said: "This festival is the evil twin of the summer blue sky fest if you like. This time of year it is darker and more alternative. We have drag queens, burlesque dancing and even magic.
"It's a great time for people to come as its very social. Its a nice local festival where we get people from all around the area. Its a fun festival so there is something for everyone. It is mostly for adults but with some kids events too."
