PEOPLE who have lost a loved-one and want to remember them this Christmas are invited to services all over the county being organised by Dorothy House.

The charity’s Light Up A Life services will be held at St Andrew’s Church Devizes on November 28 and on November 29 at St Bartholomew’s Church, Corsham.

On December 2 they will be held at St Paul’s Church, Chippenham and Malmesbury Abbey. All services start at 6pm with doors open at 5.30pm. They are free to all and no tickets are required.

A Dorothy House spokesman said: “The services are around forty-five minutes long and feature Christmas carols and readings. There is also an opportunity to remember loved ones and to light a candle in their memory.

“These seasonal services of remembrance are part of the annual Dorothy House ‘Light up a Life’ Appeal.”

Last year this vital appeal helped the hospice raise almost £50,000 towards the work of the hospice.
