A TEENAGER was knocked from his bike by what police believe was a Fiat Punto.
Officers have appealed for any witnesses who saw the hit-and-run on Holbrook Way on Tuesday morning.
Wiltshire Police said boy was knocked from his bicycle between 9.45am and 9.50am.
He was cycling along Holbrook Way when he was hit by a car at the junction with Bridge Street. in the shadow of the Holiday Inn Express hotel.
The car, believed to be a grey Fiat Punto, did not stop at the scene.
The cyclist, a 17-year-old boy, was left with bruising to his head and knee.
PC Robert Dent said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to the incident, in particular, anybody who may have been driving in the area at the time who may have footage on a dash-cam which could help our enquiries to identify the vehicle and driver.”
