Warminster Broadway by-election result
CONSERVATIVE Party candidate Chris Spender has won the Warminster Broadway by-election.
He beat the Labour Party candidate James Knight by 404 votes to win the seat on Wiltshire Council.
Mr Spender polled 665 votes to 261 for Mr Knight. Nineteen ballot papers were rejected.
The by-election was created by the resignation of George Jolley. The turn-out was 25.07 per cent.
