A WATER company has announced that it will put on a drop-in session to discuss its plans to build a sewage pumping station under a park.
Wessex Water claimed that three householders in Royal Wootton Bassett had suffered flooding on 12 different occasions in the last five years.
In September the company went to pitch its plans to the town council for a second time before being sent away because they hadn't spoken to people living in the area.
Wessex Water wanted to build the sewage pumping station under New Road play park to help with flooding in the area.
Now they have organised a drop-in session to find out more about the sewage system and to talk about any concerns.
A spokesperson said: "This work will protect properties from sewage flooding and also safeguard river water quality during times of heavy rainfall."
The meeting will be held on November 21 between 1.30pm to 7.30pm at The Wiltshire Golf Club at Vastern Wharf.
